ChaRosa Foundation has an “Adopt-A-Student” Program. This mentoring program, introduced in March 2004, is for students of all ages in all levels of education, from elementary school to college. Students are matched with mature adults who have a listening ear, caring heart, concerned mind, positive attitude, with encouraging and uplifting speech. Adults keep in regular contact with their students, introduce them to their line of work, and participate in periodic recreational events. Through this program students receive added support for their academic endeavors and learn about the value of pursuing a higher education.
