ChaRosa Foundation Corporation operates an OST (Out-Of-School time) After-School Program during the school year at P.S. 36 in St. Albans, Queens for over 200 children ages 5-12, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The students receive homework assistance, tutoring, academic enrichment, fun science, fun geography, exploring cooking, community service projects, and they participate in cultural and recreational activities. Students participating in these programs have improved in their academic performance and peer relationships.
